An Estate in the heart
of Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine de Panisse is a historic estate dating back to the 15th century (1472), surrounded by 6.5 hectares of vineyards that form a natural amphitheater around the property.
This unique location, nestled in the heart of the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, is home to old vines — some of which were planted as early as 1924.

Three Paths United by Passion
In April 2020, the Vacheron family seized an extraordinary opportunity by acquiring Domaine de Panisse — a hidden gem just 2 km from the renowned Clos du Caillou.
Three young talents — Marilou, Axel, and Antoine — embarked on a bold adventure, determined to unlock the full potential of this exceptional terroir.
Guided and supported by the previous generation, they are now writing a new chapter, crafting wines that reflect their vision and character.

Between Finesse & Power
Discover the essence of Domaine de Panisse through its two signature cuvées.
Le Mazet Côtes-du-Rhône, a blend of Grenache and Syrah, reveals perfect harmony with its silky tannins and elegant fruit, expressing the full richness of the estate’s vineyard parcels.
As for Le Mas Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it embodies the very soul of this exceptional terroir: sumptuous Grenache meets the structure of Mourvèdre, enhanced by the spiciness of Syrah and the freshness of old-vine Cinsault.
A powerful, complex, and beautifully balanced wine, where finesse and elegance reflect the true spirit of the Domaine.

The Balance of the Land
From the moment they stepped into the vineyard, the Vacheron family knew it was essential to convert the entire estate to Organic and Biodynamic farming — practices already embraced at Clos du Caillou since 2007.
In taking over Domaine de Panisse, the family made it a priority to preserve this magical place, home not only to vines, but also to lavender, cypress trees, and olive groves — nurturing rich, living soils and a thriving natural ecosystem.
The Vineyard
Located in Courthézon (84), this estate stretches across 13.5 contiguous hectares, including 6.5 hectares classified within the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape cru.
The remaining 7 hectares lie within the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation area.
